What Makes Good Design?
July 5, 2017

I don’t normally decorate our nest for 4th of July, but I found a vintage American flag at Vintage Market Days of Greater Atlanta a few weeks ago & it inspired me to add a few touches to celebrate this year!  And I never need a reason to do a little chalkboard art!

I also purchased this church pew from the fantastic husband and wife duo Carolina Chic Home and Salvage at the Vintage Market Days show.  I’d been looking for one for this spot and it was the perfect size for our needs.  It was originally an off white/Old White, but I’ll share the transformation of the pew, as well as the story of the boxes below it, with you this week!  I’ll give you a hint: I’ve already changed my mind on all of it!

Until then, Happy 4th of July from our nest to yours!  God Bless America!  And God Bless your family!!

P.S. If you’ve been wondering where I’ve gone, please know that I post A LOT more on my Instagram page than any other social media outlet.  Please be sure to click Follow, as I post several times a day in my Instagram Stories at the top!  I’ll see you over there!
