How to Build a Bench Seat. Rustic Recycled Wood Furniture.

This DIY sofa can be made with basic power tools in less than 5 hours. Modern outdoor sofas can be quite expensive and this project can provide a more affordable alternative. I made this couch out of 4x8s, 2x8s, and some outdoor sofa cushions that I bought from IKEA. It is a sturdy DIY sofa made from solid wood. I used a grey Minwax wood stain to finish it.

  1. How did you align the L brackets

  2. Sean Signer says:

The sofa needs a middle support block to reduce stress on the brackets & screws.

  15. Since I read “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), I think nothing will ever surpass it as an excellent wood working book. The text is easy to read and the pictures and drawings exceptional. I consider this book a "must have" since it supplies a wide range of info on just about everything working with wood working and does it quite well.

  25. I am retired and have a little shop where I conduct woodturning, produce musical instruments, and some cabinetry. I possess a shelf loaded with woodworking books – but I discovered this woodworking book, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). It is the most comprehensive book I`ve seen. It has good coverage on each and every topic.
