    I feel you skipped a major step by jumping from the "three" cords to twisting the "four" wires together (white then black respectively). Did you create a "pig tail" for the electrician to splice to? Or…

  13. Did you connect this to a junction box??? I don't understand how you connected this before you put the wood on the ceiling?
