  1. awesome ja, that wood table is grungy like metal m/

  2. has anyone ever told you that you resemble notch a lot?

  3. serge j says:

    recycling i love it

  4. PainChaud says:

Even there you get nosy neighbours lol. And thanks I love my new old table!

  5. PainChaud says:

    Must be the beard πŸ˜‰

  6. PainChaud says:

Yeah me too since I'm cheap. Lol

  7. So true!! I would like to have a Homestead that is surrounded by tons of trees with a long drive from the road.
Ohh yea your table is so awesome. Cant wait to see what you build next before winter sets in. I have to hibernate in Summer here~today was a nice 85* but a horrible 90% humidty. Ughh And you have to hibernate in winter. LOL

  8. tysy73 says:

Cover it with some tempered glass. That would protect it and show off that natural beauty. Nice work!

  9. PainChaud says:

Yeah summer is short here and we get like a week of too hot weather. Winter is another story πŸ˜‰ I'm glad for the short summer tho. I don't like heat.

  10. Ohh I would love a very short summer also.

  11. PainChaud says:

It sure would. But the price might be high. It's 6"/4" πŸ˜‰

  12. PainChaud says:

Be careful what you wish for πŸ˜‰

  13. lol now you sound like my granmother. Seriously, she used to say that when one of us kids would say "I wish…" and actually I am very careful about saying I wish all the time. I try to be Thankful for what I do have & if you are always wishing then you are not being thankful. Thanks for the reminder.
I will think of your words when I am out in my garden each day & sweating & drenching wet & needing O2. LOL

  14. PainChaud says:

Lol! Well I wish for a colder summer and it's still so cold even the weeds aren't growing lol

  15. Hi from Maine deck sealer is the way to go for preserving the wood hope this helps

  16. PainChaud says:

Well I bought both. I stained it for the look. But after that I'm gonna use sealer….every Spring I guess.

  17. Hi, Do you know where it is possible to find such woods in Quebec?

  18. PainChaud says:

No. There are some stores in Montreal. But in a more rural place look around on trash day. Sometimes people throw this wood to the curb. Just drive around the night before trash day πŸ˜‰

  19. PainChaud says:

    πŸ˜‰ thanks for stopping by

  20. v melo says:

    liquid glass…..go habs go:)

  21. Kelly Ward says:

Whoever said to paint or stain PLEASE don't!!! It looks gorgeous the way it is!!!,,After all the reclaimed wood look is what you were going for and just sealing it to preserve it would be my suggestion so no further wear and weathering. It's perfect the the way it is, other than the other statement of potentially sanding it down for slivers, to eat at the table πŸ™‚ Excellent job!!

  22. lmorman says:

Love it! You build things the way I do. Good use of recycling the old wood. I love that weathered, salvage look. Plus, it feels damn good making something awesome for free.

  23. morgantough says:

Awesome, I am reusing a bunch of things here to. this is a great idea . !!Β

  24. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!Β

  25. jaglinuxmint says:

why you have jihad in your name?….its pretty disgusting….i am not blaming you….but that name is a curse….

  26. Billy Barton says:

If you put clear epoxy on it thick then you retain the look and make it smooth.

  27. Marcio Ferre says:

    Muito bom Amigo…Reciclando…..
