This video, along with the free plans that can be found here: http://www.adamgabbert.com/plans/rope-handled-barnwood-crate-plans/, show you how I make these reclaimed wood crates with rope handles. This barn wood project is perfect for beginners because it’s fairly basic.

The materials I used were old weather barn wood boards, glue, screws and a natural 3/4″ rope. If you have any questions about how to build this reclaimed wood project, take a look at the video and the simple plans that I drew for these boxes.

If you want to build these recycled barn wood crates, you can get most of the materials for free. I got the fence boards for free, and had the glue and screws lying around the shop. You don’t need all of the tools that I use to make these crates, you just need to use your imagination when it comes to making all of the cuts and joinery.

If you’re looking for a reclaimed wood project, this one is quick and easy. Not to mention they look great too. The recycled barn wood is the latest style I guess.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments below, and thanks for watching!
